Beaufort Street Precinct

Beaufort Street Precinct is the area we have come to love, we work in it, most of us live in it and our daily life revolves around it.  In the last few years we’ve seen property tightly held, our rental market has boomed and we have seen a constant flow of prospective tenants coming in and out of our office daily looking for new homes.

The last 6 months has seen resurgence in the sales market in the inner suburbs and we are seeing investors attracted by the good rental returns; tenants who realise they can pay off a loan for not much more than the rent they are currently paying and a general feeling of confidence has been restored.  Families are feeling comfortable upgrading and we are seeing things moving within a reasonable period of time. We currently have one of the lowest number of properties on the market and the unique situation where people want to look at homes for sale but will not put their homes on the market in case they can’t find something for sale.

Beaufort Street and surrounds offers a lifestyle that has been enjoyed in other parts of Australia for years, St.Kilda, Brunswick, South Yarra in Melbourne; Surrey Hills, Darlinghurst and Paddington in Sydney. Finally those lucky enough to live in the area can enjoy the cafes and bars of Beaufort St from Highgate through Mt Lawley to Inglewood, Whatley Crescent in Maylands, Angove Street in North Perth, Oxford St Leederville and Scarborough Beach Rd in Mt Hawthorn.

Designer clothes shops, shoe shops, giftware, bookshops, beauty salons, fresh fruit markets, it’s all on our doorstep and we don’t need to go far to do our shopping. We admit parking is getting worse but at least we don’t have to go to the city, with community buses being talked about, difficulty getting around should be a problem of the past in the near future.

Every month we will focus on one of our favourite areas and review a bar, cafe and shop or salon to keep you up to date with what is happening locally.

Watch this space and if you want to have your business reviewed please email us info@beaufortrealty.com.au.

Feel free to post comments or ask us any real estate related questions and one of our experienced sales people or property managers will be happy to offer advice.
